Coordinated Entry Committee Meeting

Please find draft Coordinated Entry policy language just released for public comment here.

This language has been developed primarily in response to the incoming Emergency Housing Voucher (EHV) allocations that we expect the Louisiana Housing Authority, the East Baton Rouge Parish Housing Authority, the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury, the Lake Charles Housing Authority, the Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government, and other PHAs to receive.

Our goals with these policy updates are as follows:

- Allowing large and sufficient numbers of participants to be rapidly referred to EHV administrators while ensuring participants continue to be triaged based on need and acuity;

- Creating mechanisms for participants receiving temporary housing subsidies or subsidies that are soon to be eliminated, including ESG-CV RRH, SSVF-CV RRH, and City of Baton Rouge HOPWA, to be prioritized for these EHVs;

- Creating mechanisms for participants receiving PSH who are ready to 'move on' to a lower intensity subsidy to be prioritized for EHVs;

- Creating a process for LHC to capture data about EHV usage in HMIS without requiring PHAs to engage HMIS.
