Passcode: M6rz3SY6
Agenda:
This meeting will focus on shaping our goals for 2026. We have two meetings left in this year. I would like for us to formulate concrete objectives that we can achieve.
A few ideas that I had were:
- create a committee “one sheet” that contains our respective organization names, purpose and contact information.
- committee members attend a Point In Time count in their respective areas (FY26) and provide homeless veterans with a committee “one sheet” that contains our respective organization names, purpose and contact information. This sheet would include VA and community resources, housing, healthcare, and employment services.
- distribute our committee one sheet to all COC’s and other LA BOSCOC committees. This would provide them with an overview of our group’s mission statement, our goals, and the services we provide to prevent and address veteran homelessness. Formalize partnerships with these groups and ensure they are aware they can call on us in respects to homeless veterans so that we may provide a myriad of resources to get a homeless veteran sheltered and stabilized.
- have an open session to field other ideas/goals

HMIS Annual Security Training
Overview
The LA BOSCOC is holding it's annual privacy and security training Tuesday, June 24, 2025. Attendees of the live training will view the training materials and will have the opportunity to ask questions of our HMIS System Administrators. The training materials will also be posted on the LA BOSCOC and CAAH websites after the live training event for end users to review on their own.
Prior to the training session HMIS end users will receive an email from CAAH containing a link to the annual security training slides for HMIS end users and the Understanding Check questionnaire. Everyone who uses HMIS is required to watch a training video (live or on your own) and complete a brief quiz (Understanding Check) to confirm their participation. This should take roughly one hour. Security Training should be completed by Tuesday, July 8, 2025.
