The Louisiana Balance of State Continuum of Care (LA BOSCOC) is a self-governing coalition of organizations and people dedicated to ending homelessness in Louisiana. (Click here to learn more about what we do, which areas of the state we cover, and how to join.)

The LA BOSCOC was created in 2015 to provide CoC coverage to Natchitoches, Sabine, Plaquemines, and St. Bernard. Between 2016 and 2018, the LA BOSCOC expanded to incorporate more than half of Louisiana’s geography, including the Baton Rouge, Houma-Terrebonne, and Lake Charles Regions.

The LA BOSCOC is staffed by its Collaborative Applicant (“lead agency”), the Louisiana Housing Corporation.

The LA BOSCOC is governed by its Board. The Board is comprised of elected members from each Region, appointed members from statewide agencies and stakeholders, and people with lived experience of homelessness.
