The Youth Action Board

The Youth Action Board (YAB) is a committee of the LA BOSCOC composed of 3-8 members between the ages of 16 and 24 with lived experienced of homelessness. The YAB uses their expertise to be an agent of change, providing impactful feedback to the CoC on policies and actions that impact youth. The YAB aspires to use their stories to inform the public about the realities of youth homelessness and to inspire other young people in Louisiana.

The Louisiana Balance of State Continuum of Care is dedicated to preventing and ending homelessness in Louisiana. We believe all people are entitled to safe, stable, and secure housing. We are committed to working with stakeholders across our geography, in different professional circles, and from every background to create a Louisiana in which no person lives in fear of homelessness.
